Looks like millions. Worth billions.
A body like the David with a mind to match.
Unfortunately for this wayward heir, to keep his money, he needs a wife.
And of all the women in the world, he chooses me.
Too bad I've hated him for five years, since he took all my tears and tossed me away. The guy slept his way through half of New England and discarded women like hotel toiletries.
Been there. Done that.
Still...what would you do for twenty million dollars?
Would you wear the dress?
Fake a smile for the man who broke your heart?
Or would you run far, far away?
Yeah, that's what I thought.
I'll see you at the church.

BOOK REVIEW
Jane fell in love 5 years ago but quickly abandoned that to keep her heart from completely breaking. But what she doesn’t know is the reason she abandoned heart break is fixing to walk back into her life with a bang!
After being let go from her job at the DA’s office she needs a pick me up and a few hours away from her mom. So she makes an appointment to get her hair dyed a color she hasn’t been able to for the last 5 years.
When Eric shows up at the salon she just has her hair done she is dumbfounded. Even though they share Skylar as a friend, he was the last person she expected to see. Especially with the proposal that he has for her.
Eric knew that 5 years ago the love of his life walked away. Now he needs help from Jane in a way he never expected. Jane was the one that got away because of circumstances of their own making. But Eric knows he wouldn’t do this with anyone else but Jane.
Eric is so much more than just the lawyer with a top firm and amazing friends who run the same firm with him. Even though he has everything going for him he doesn’t have love in his life. Especially after his last fiancée. His grandmother summons him to see her after 10 years of not being in touch with his family. She has a deal to make with him. And she holds nothing back in her expectations of what she wants.
But can Eric deliver on the deal in order to save his family and their business?
Eric is a well rounded hunky guy who has room for love in his heart but refuses to just let anyone in. Especially someone he has loved before. Eric has the best of intentions with Jane until things become more complicated than he ever expected.
Eric knows what his heart is capable of, but will extenuating circumstances keep that from happening?
Jane is such a firecracker and I absolutely love that about her! She doesn’t conform to anything but who she truly is. She is unapologetically herself and I admire the hell out of her for that!
Eric and Jane’s relationship is one of chaos, feist and pure passion. They spar with each other only they can handle. These two have such a spark and so much sexual tension it is unreal. They know what it can be between each other but they worry that they will get their hearts broken again. Jane is willing to do what she can in order to help Eric but there is a price to pay when you are involved with a high society family. So much is expected of you and the true question remains of whether Jane and Eric can be their true selves with each other despite all of the distractions being thrown at them!
Nicole French is an East Coast/West Coast hybrid creature, Springsteen fanatic, hopeless romantic, and total bookworm.
When not writing fiction or teaching writing classes, she is hanging out with her family, playing soccer with the rest of the thirty-plus crowd in Seattle, or going on dates with her husband.
In her spare time, she likes to go running with her dog, Greta, or practice the piano, but never seems to do either one of these things as much as she should.
