Synopsis

šŒš¢š„š„šžš«:

When Talon left to play pro ball six years ago, the hole in my chest confused me. I focused my heartache into making my own NFL dreams come true, and by the time I was drafted, the longing I had for my best friend was buried deep.

Now he wants everything to be like it was in college, but we canā€™t have threesomes and be reckless like we once were. The media storm would be enough to break both our careers.

Thatā€™s not my biggest concern though. The torch I had for him burns brighter after so long apart, and thereā€™s nothing I can do about it. Marcus Talon is straight.

I need to stay away from him.

š“ššš„šØš§:

Years ago, Miller and I made a pact that weā€™d win a Super Bowl together. When Iā€™m offered a position on his team in Chicago, I donā€™t hesitate. I move across the country to chase a dream thatā€™s a decade old.

Only, now that Iā€™m here, heā€™s avoiding me every chance he gets. If he was anyone else, Iā€™d cut my losses.

But this is Shane Millerā€”the guy who makes everything better just by existing in my universe. The guy Iā€™d do anything for. The guy whoā€™s more to me than a brother, a friend, or even a teammate.

Iā€™m not going to let him get away.

BOOK REVIEW

Marcus Talon and Shane Millerā€™s Relationship began as friends and in college and quickly escalated to falling so hard into bed. This continued for the next 3 years until Marcus graduates and gets drafted into the NFL.

But their love wasnt wasnā€™t for each other in bed. Because they had one rule. NO TOUCHING EACH OTHER. Hence the one or more women in bed between them.

Six years later and Marcus signs with Shaneā€™s Chicago team, which only means one thing. They quickly bed some female fans who just canā€™t get enough of the jersey.

The last 5 years Shane has been trying to get over his feeling for Marcus but couldnā€™t help but want him more. Even though Marcus thought it was just games.

But his feeling toward his attractions was realized realized when he accidentally walked in on his roommate Matt and his boyfriend Noah together.

Trey came to ease Marcusā€™ concerns only the way a big brother can. And I was really hoping for some more time with Trey on these pages but alas there wasnā€™t.

At a pivotal moment, Shane had a season ending injury and went back to his familyā€™s New York home to help save his heart. Even with the distance it helped Shane and Marcus sort out their emotions and discuss their feeling the way we all do. Text and FaceTime. What would we do without it?

I loved how these two were willing to explore with each other and only focused on being together with each other. However, being these large super Alphas that they are there was sooo much push and pull in the emotions department.

I absolutely loved this story story even though at times it was hard to differentiate between the narrators because of complete snark and smart assery (which I speak fluently). I loved that there was an HEA that also included 5 out of the 6 previous MCs from the other books!

Here is to hoping we get Jet and Sorenā€™s book soon!

About the Author

Eden Finley is an Amazon bestselling author who writes steamy contemporary romances that are full of snark and light-hearted fluff.

She doesnā€™t take anything too seriously and lives to create an escape from real life for her readers. The ideas always begin with a wackadoodle premise, and she does her best to turn them into romances with heart.

With a short attention span that rivals her five-year-old son's, she writes multiple different pairings: MM, MMF, and MF.

She's also an Australian girl and apologises for her Australianisms that sometimes don't make sense to anyone else.
